Agenda Proposal/Decision-making Process of Kommune DAO
Governance is a space where you can check out the status of Kommune DAO and Klaytn governance voting, and participate in voting. The agenda passed in the governance vote is submitted as an agenda to Klaytn Governance, and the final decision is made by Klaytn G. The process of proposing and deciding Klaytn agenda via Kommune DAO is done through the following steps.
Kommune DAO's governance agenda is proposed by KoKLAY token holders. Users holding more than 1,000 KoKLAY can propose agendas at any time, and in the step, various opinions and suggestions are exchanged in the forum.
Some of the proposed agendas are selected as discussion agendas by the moderators. Certain criteria (number of 'Likes', percentage of approval, etc.) must be met to be selected as a discussion agenda, and these criteria may change depending on the situation. The selected agenda is discussed in the forum for 7 days.
After the 7-day discussion period ends, the moderator sorts out the opinions from the discussion process to finalize the agenda by revising it into the format suitable for the governance space. The revised agenda will be raised to governance voting, and this first round of voting will be held for 7 days.
During the governance voting period, KoKLAY holders can vote for or against the proposed agenda. After the end of the first round of voting, a re-discussion will be held for 7 days for the agenda that has been passed with more than 50% of votes in favor.
After 7 days of re-discussion, a second round of voting will be held to finalize the Klaytn governance agenda. This second round of voting will also be held for 7 days, and the voting standard will be strengthened compared to the first round of voting, and the final approval will be made only when the total minimum number of votes is 5 million KLAY and the approval rate of 2/3 or above is achieved.
Agenda approved in both the 1st and 2nd rounds will be submitted as a Klaytn governance agenda through Kommune DAO. Clayton GC will make the final decision on the agenda.
